Bosnian Missing Massacre
Complete darkness of a 1992 madness
In a cosmopolitan Bosnian city
Dread and awe of heavy shelling
Clocks tick with gunshots
Mortar blasts, snipers in hundreds
Dead or alive dominance of innocent citizens
Orchestral music swim over unmoving bodies
Whose souls have flown away
By the visit of ethnic cleansing
Streets portrayed in nightmare and gore
Proteins and bones made sands and stones
Atrocities of inhumane human beings
Aftermath of the horror have been seen
Lucky eyes of a journalist has told
Though no longer impoverished or desolate today
The full real tragedy may never be found
