The Queen’s Memorial

They were all there
The angels on the other stage were
In the air flew agony and bitter cries
In association with screams
Painfully sobbing, the music
Spleenful weeping with no gushing tears
Lamentation spumes and joys torn asunder
A scene painted in blood-red and coals black

Licentiates of this sorrow's home present
Muttering words imperfectly laconic
One splenetic guest as calm as calm can be
Cracked into great distress to the core
Guests in horror's ice
Watching with eyes gaping, and aching
At the motionless sleeping-like image
With silver glass-like hands stretched sideways

This was the queen, our queen
As faint as an orphan faint offered
Like an ultimate charity in death’s hands
