In love we lay, resting
Openly in a field, loving
Into each other’s simple life, sharing
Sweet things concerning us, chatting
Appearance plain and serene, viewing
The quiet breeze and landscape, singing
Secrets told in truth and confidence, wishing
Making promises and connecting kisses, touching
All these turned into painful memories, sprouting
As I alone lay on same field, recalling
Every picture, bit, word and time, returning
Whom I loved dearest but have now gone, resting
