The Witch's Ritual

From a region with no religion came a legion
Like busy bees buzzing; worrying, hurrying, honeying
They reached, the bewitched and the witch
Which is bewitched, teacher or leech?
Caricatures called creatures
By and by, they wondered why, and high
Fetch me a wretched wrench, an order in French
Caught in pot, ‘tis hot; a thought: why not?
The actual ritual spiritually commenced
A rat from a hat, a bat and a cat
A jail and a bail, hailed and sailed
On broomstick, in gloom and doom
The conjured loomed, as they roamed and moaned in the room
